To hire the grounds

The surface of the grounds of the Chateau of Selles-sur-Cher cover an area of 1,5 hectares, all enclosed.

It is composed of 3 separate parts as follows:

The fore court, is between the town and the chateau, and is an ideal place for events and a beautiful back-drop.

It is composed of two large square lawns and a little farm, and is bordered by the moat and chateau to the west.

The second green space of the chateau of Selles-sur-Cher is the main court-yard, it is a peaceful place full of romance, which is bordered by the moat to the east and by the river Cher to the north.

At the centre of this court-yard, is our three-hundred years old cedar of Lebanon, a special feature of the chateau.

The medieval court is the third outdoor space, which is dedicated to wine. You can find our mini-vineyard where we produce the Gamay Rouge, Sauvignon Blanc, Cot Rouge and Cabernet Franc Rouge.

The reception room Salle Robert de Courtenay is situated in the medieval court-yard. This is a good place for all your professional and private events, or exhibitions.
